"a long day!" = it's taking a long time
"I like yourS ____" = anytime they compliment you they say yours instead of your, "I like yours hair, I like yours shirt, I like yours picture..."
"NOT SORRY" = their response, out of anger, when someone says they are sorry. this one isn't cute right now, but it's one of their 'isms so it's here ;-}
"____ is being mean at me", "she hit to me" = they really like pronouns, you name a pronoun, they over use it!
They absolutely, positively, can not have it any other way, have to have their blankets FLAT, like, all the way flat, every night/nap time, or they can't sleep.
I have NO IDEA!? who's kids these are ;-)
(insider info: I can't sleep if the bed isn't made before I get in, or at least the sheets have to be tucked in just right. twisted.)
Specifically Nora:
She strokes your face or plays with your hair if you are holding her, sitting with her or laying with her. UGH! It's sooo cute.
She gives random butterfly and Eskimo kisses. Cute. If you know they're coming anyway.
gee. I wonder what that girls love language is!?
Her favorite movie is Aristocats.
Specifically Sophie:
She is ALL the baby of the family - forget this twin stuff.
If anyone is misbehaving (and she wasn't the one who started it) then she announces the fact that she was NOT misbehaving and stays on her best behaviour for at least 20 min's afterward.
Mama's girl. All the way.
The wiggliest cuddler ever. Ever.
Her favorite movie is Bambie.
Over all, these girls are a HOOT right now.
Always making me laugh, always something new.
So different and yet so the same.
I love it.
So, it was a bad day and I just wanted to remind myself of how precious these little girls are.
I can be such a bad mommy sometimes - I hate that.
But I refuse to let go and just let that be - I will fight at being a better mommy to my kids, always.
I don't want them to see perfection, but I do want them to see me get back up again after I've fallen.....which is good because I have to get up a lot, like right now.

Holly, let me just say that you are an amazing mom! And trust me you aren't the only one that has fallen and needs to get back up. You are an amazong gal.
Also I would like to add an example to the "yours" one...when brooke and I were there I think it was sophie, most likely, said "don't leave in yours moms car." And had a sad face:( I felt like telling you guys that before you left... You are missed and loved tons from me and other oasisers!
