sometimes you have a reason to get dressed up and pose for mommy:

and sometimes, it's just because:

(Samantha has been planning 'this' hair do for about three days now. Her instructions were very specific and she was so excited about it! Oh. and it was a surprise for her sisters, no one could see it until it was complete.

I couldn't figure out why, other than she's just Samantha, that she wanted it done so bad but as soon as we finished and she accessorized, she started asking me to watch Prince Caspian:

and then it all made sense ;-)

Lydia just thought it was pretty and followed her sister.

Funny. This happens a lot. The whole 'birth order' stuff is out the window a lot of times with them.

Oh, but Lydia did design and create all of Samantha's jewelry.

So.....without Lydia, Samantha isn't complete ;-)

they are such a hoot.
