today.

Grandpa Flip's last day.

It's been relaxing and beautiful and....well, relaxing.

in no particular order we:
and
and
and, have we shown you our 'coolest bush ever'?
and we made some:
(of which the squirrels have already consumed two of.
I'm renaming these to 'Squirrel Feeders')

Grandpa Flip grilled hamburgers, I made THIS Orzo Salad!!
(because I miss my friend Liz and eating her food just makes me happy)

and we are on a mad hunt for four pair of gold slippers,
wedding in Texas coming up and I am NOT missing this photo op.
One down, three to go.

Jonathan and all his girls are coming over later for one last get together with Grandpa Flip before he heads back and continues a mad search for a job.

I hate that he has to do that.
I feel defeated for him and every other person out there out of a job but desperately looking for one.
My heart and my prayers have been heavy in that direction lately.

This has been one great visit though, that's FOR SURE!
I miss my parents terribly, what a blessing they are.
