precursor to these pictures: Jake's parent's house is about 1 1/2 hours from Dallas/Arlington/Ft. Worth.

Jake's aunt (Sherrie!) treated Jake and me to a Texas Ranger's baseball game/date night one night while Lydia and Samantha got to spend the night at her house.
And a treat it was!
Before we split ways Sherrie took us on a tour of the new Cowboys Stadium.
Wow.
Then we had dinner, hugged some more cousins in Arlington (our favorite cousins in Arlington ;-) and went our separate ways.
The weather was perfect, our seats were MORE THAN generous.
I could even make out the bald spots on the back of some of the Ranger's heads.
And they won!
(they were playing the Baltimore Oriels, which was ironic to me and no one else for some reason....pretty sure we could get to a Baltimore Oriels baseball game in 45 min's from our house, but we saw them in TX instead? now we'll just have to catch the Rangers in Baltimore next year, right? again, I was the only one who thought this was at all significant to mention.)

We absolutely loved, loved, loved having Sam and Lydia for an evening!!! Oh how it made me wish you guys lived closer! I have not given up hope that you will someday wind up in Texas.
I'm with Courtney! We were at a hotel when I pulled up your blog. I had to pass the computer to Corey so he could see these pictures!! So cool!
