I get asked for this all the time, and while I have recipes on the mind and since I just took a picture of it last night,
here ya go:
HOLLY'S SALSA:
4-5 Roma Tomatoes
1-2 jalapenos
1 yellow or red onion
1 bigger bunch of cilantro
chop those all up
1-2 limes
squeeze the juice of the lime(s) all over the veggies
You can this with whatever you have but now you're going to want to add the:
1 large can (28 oz I think) of whole tomatoes
(not the juice, unless you like it really juicy, less chunky, then add the juice
I just take a fork and pluck the tomatoes out of the can, I don't drain the tomatoes, I just plop them in the bowl with the veggies)
and use a hand blender/salsa chopper/food processor/blender
to mix this all together
add
Garlic Salt to your tasting
Holly's notes:
I use a hand blender lately
I only quarter the Roma tomatoes
I use my Pampered Chef chopper for the onions and jalapenos
I use scissors for the cilantro and I do this quick too because the hand blender does a lot for you.
