The HYDE Family Reunion

it's a miracle! this was mine and Jake's first family reunion in over 10 years!

There were some very very fun moments and very very special people,

but let me just be honest....as a whole, we were not ready for this.

huge campground with woods, lake, paddle boats, water slide, bounce house, volleyball, games, etc....

and not one of my kids wanting to go to the same activity at the same time, a couple of hundred people, most of whom you only barely know,

I don't know, maybe I just wasn't ready for this!

now that I think about it, everyone else had an amazing time with no complaints.

but I'm the mom, which means I came home extremely sore and tired and sweaty ;-)

I will say though that the light at the end of the tunnel is there....

one day, things like this will be amazing for me too, it's was close enough for me to see, which means that for part of the time I must have been having fun!
