It's a good one, but it's still a pit.
I just sent an email to the local CASA to get the ball rolling on some training to become an advocate.
And now I want to throw up.
I never followed all the way through in Nebraska because we weren't going to live there for the required amount of time, which was sad, but I was glad that God was so clear with His answer about that.
His answer here though, so far, is clear that I need to move forward.
It's one of 'those' things that God is asking me to do.
These are abused and neglected little kids - will I be able to leave them after I meet them?
And THAT is where the pit comes from.
It was so much easier, 10 minutes ago, when I was just turning my head and pretending like the issues don't exist.
I wish it was that easy for these babies.
Because it's so not, I hit send.....

bless you for caring about those little ones.
Holly! Hey! We missed your smile, enthusiasm, and CAKE at the RFKC Omaha Birthday Party last week! :) We did have a fun crew come in and their were LIVE goldfish swimming in vases on the kids' tables! Wow! :)
Thank you for caring for these special kiddos! I pray God will continue to direct you as you to seek to be involved in their lives.
I saw on the national RFKC site that there is a local RFKC in Winchester, VA!
Blessings,
Jennie

So proud of you. You're going to be great.
sounds amazing!
Hi Holly,
That is great!! We are praying that our sweet little foster baby will have a wonderful, caring CASA to advocate for him.
Would love to talk/email with you sometime.
Jeni
Wait till you start this! I guarantee you that you will fall in love with the kids on sight and that you will protect them ferouciously! Get ready for a fight sometimes and for disspapointment, but also for those great times when everything works out.
