WE DID IT!!!!!!!

It truly was a HAPPY 4th of July!

Shared with the Cassada's (and a slew of their friends and family!)

and several other THOUSANDS of people celebrating our country's freedom in our country's capitol!

And despite the THOUSANDS, we had an awesome, huge, clean, quiet space in the shade on the Potomac with minimal traffic home!

I think if you asked Jake and Vern what their favorite part of the night was, it would go something like this:

(we could see three monuments, the capital, the Potomac and Memorial Bridge from our spot!)

these two never tired, THE WHOLE NIGHT!

I love it!!!!!!!

Samantha and Bailey.....every time I saw them together I would just start giggling.

(and they watched about 5 bursts until they decided their glow sticks were much more fun...pretty sure their backs were to the fireworks most of the time ;-)
