He said it was a neat opportunity, he's very grateful to have been able to go and he came home with some loot for his girls!
New jewelry, wooden kitchen tools, beaded bookmarks...so fun.
He met some amazing people that your average-joe American wouldn't normally get to meet, and had a few minutes here and there to tour the city.
He may get a few chances to go again and he's excited just thinking about it!
Before he left he asked if I wanted him to bring back anything specific and I said,
"Oh, just a few kids would be great."
I got a necklace :-).
and I got my husband home, which I love!

Wow! That is a cool place to go, especially for a TDY! You should have gone too! ya know, like a Greece trip all over again...=)
