I'm over it and I need to be careful

so, we still get comments about the girls, how many there are, how close in age they are, are there two sets of twins?, do you have triplets?, your hands are full, etc...
ALL. THE. TIME.

yeah yeah yeah.

On Sunday, after church (meaning I'm a little more dressed up than any other day), we were out to eat and a man looks at me and says in disbelief, "Man! They must run you ragged!"
to which I responded, "Why? Do I look ragged?"

I'm just sayin', why would you say that to someone!?
Truthfully I was enjoying the fact that he had something different to say and I wasn't offended by what he said, it was actually funny.
Unfortunately my tongue can be so dang quick that I'm sure that's not the impression he got.

(I actually told some ladies who were giving me the 'new military girl' speech the other day to 'buck up'.....maybe not my brightest moment.
why am I confessing this all on here!?
I'm getting off the computer before this gets even uglier, because trust me, it does.)

oh, and I was on the phone with a realtor and I mentioned my kids...she said "how many do you have?" and after I said 4 she asked what their ages were...I responded 2,3,4 and 6. There was silence and then she said "wow, you really didn't take a break at all in there"...um? ok, thanks for pointing that out...cause I didn't know how close in age they all were....and I didn't go any further...but really? commenting on how I didn't take a break? I should have said something about how we just can't keep our hands off each other...=) ha!

Holly Sweetie welcome to the south where "running ragged" just means keeping busy. In any other family 4 children would probably keep a mommy busy but they don't have SUPER MOMMY. But I will admit we southern folk can be a bit nosey too but we're well meaning most of the time. You should hear some of the remarks when we tell people that Emi and Lizzie are 9 1/2 months apart..... you can figure those out.
