11 miles today.
1 week to go until THE race.
13.1 miles is like really really long to me right now.
I know, I know.
"it's only 2.1 more miles" and if someone actually said that to me right this second I might accidentally hit them, in the face, hard.
I'm going to do it and it's going to be awesome and I'm pumped and excited and READY (wow, I just said I'm ready for a 13.1 mile race!?) and and and.
And I might just collapse at the end....just sayin'.

of course you're ready!! You've worked hard to be able to run 11 miles...another two is totally doable on race day. You get an extra boost with adrenaline and all the other "divas" running with you.
I wish I could come and pace you for your first big race... can't wait to hear all about it!
ahhh!! you made it!! Can't wait to hear all about it! Oh, and I was nervous too about those extra miles, my training plan only had me go to 10 miles the week before...like Shelby said you will have adrenaline and all the other racers there encouraging you, you will do great! Wish I could be there too!
You will complain all the way to the finish line way ahead of your friends in good Benton fashion. You will conquer and excel.

holy COW!!! you are awesome! and I know you will kick butt. Only to think that earlier this year you were already a superstar when you were able to push Gracie in her stroller and go around the track.

so...what are the details?? when do you leave? what time does the race start?? where are you eating dinner that night (VERY important detail!) :-)
