Birkam Yoga

um.
yeah.
so.
I tried Bikram Yoga.

here's what Wikipedia says:

Bikram's classes run approximately 90 minutes and are comprised of a set series of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. Bikram Yoga is ideally practiced in a room heated to 105°F with a humidity of 40%, making it notoriously known as a form of "hot yoga".

here's what I say:

I can't actually type on here what I WANT to say about it because it's not appropriate language.

wow.

I am an intense person (stop laughing).
I work out the same way.
I am typically the most intense person working out when I'm in a class session like that but these people were WAY over my intensity level.
Which only makes me want to go back, because I'm a tad competitive like that.

The heat wasn't too bad.
I was wet.
To the core.
To the core of my core's.

But what really got me was that this was YoGa, straight up, no modifications (that's Yoga talk for 'hard core/ no fat people poses').
And I like my mod's/fat people poses.

This place was super far away (sprinkle in some traffic and it took me over an hour to get home) but it was fun.
And I might hate you for like a few days Becky, but then I'll be begging to go back.

Maybe next time I won't shake in the middle like I have the flu?  (the teeth chattering, arms wobbling, sweating flu stuff)

wow.

You should go, really, you should try it.
What? You aren't convinced?

Really, I'm just whining, I do that, it's actually worth a shot, or two or three.

Buah ha ha ha ha!!! Oh my gosh, I've seen you do the arms wobbling, sweating, turning white gonna barf flu thing, so at least you stopped short of throwing up on your yoga mat. That's a plus! :) You can't let those gravity defying stand on one arm while sitting sideways yoga girls out do you. You must go back. :~)
