the cake

I was distracted.

The goal was to make a cake

but there was some serious cuteness going on outside the kitchen window that was greatly distracting me.

I found myself standing there just starring at them playing, several times.

I gave in.

Of course, I go out to get a picture of the cuteness and I get this:

 

(I can't tell you how MANY  of these I have.  They do not like to be interrupted, even stealthly, from their imaginary games - these are their 'hurry up and tell us what you need because we really want you to go away so we can keep pretending' looks. ;-)

I hung around for a few minutes until the newness of my presence wore off and got a few more:

 

How am I supposed to work under those conditions!?

Actually, 20 min's after this they were all IN THEIR BEDS and mama was not happy because you know how long 'cuteness' lasts.

Yep.  They are cute and distracting most of the time, but they are also real.

Little stinkers.

And the cake lived.

It's amazing.
