the weekend:
Boat Show in Annapolis
for some reason we thought this was a boat show like 'go see some cool boats' not boat show like 'go buy some million dollar boats' and let. me. tell. you. that is a whole other world that 'boat world'! A world where loafers are still very cool and very expensive.
it was bad for me, 'cause now I want to live on a boat - a $1.8 million dollar boat ;-).
Lunch with one of Jake's buddies from work, in Annapolis.
Jake and I both now strongly desire to LIVE in Annapolis!!!
Girls night out in Georgetown with a former student Jake and I worked with in Ohio, who is now all grown up and adult like and makes me feel O.L.D.
I have officially crossed Georgetown off of my 'things to do in D.C.' list - been there a few times, not a fan.
Sunday church.
Our pastor hurts my feelings every Sunday...and I love it!

That same gal from Ohio (HI ERIKA!!!!!!), and her husband hung out with us all day Sunday and it was awesome. We miss our Ohio clan deeply.
Monday, replaced my broken phone...my world is now spinning in a complete orbit, it's sad, but true.
The guy didn't know what was wrong with it but he used the words, 'locusts' and 'possessed', I do know that...and could have told him that!

Monday night, spent some time with a few of our 'besties' here in Virginia (thanks for calling JOHNATHAN AND LIZA!!!!!!!, we were so needing to see you!)
Tuesday morning.
Wake up and realize that we leave in two days for our camping trip and I have a stinkin' lot to do and Jake's schedule the next two days is almost unbelievable.
I have a new hair cut, looks kinda like my old one only I know the split ends are g.o.n.e.
I loved my hair cutting place, that was fun because it usually takes like two years for me to find that!
Samantha learned how to ride a bike about three weeks ago.
Lydia gave up about four weeks ago.
Today Lydia decided to teach herself and she is doing awesome....uh hem...she 'might' get that from her mommy?!
I have a video of it on my new phone, when I get smarter and figure out how to share it.
My neighbor brought me some fancy cupcakes, Netflix is calling my name as well as the cupcake.
bring on the vegging Holly. (because that sounds way better than doing my list right now!)

wondering why you were posing by a boat. :~) Funny how the things we like the best are typically really expensive. A boat for you, boots for me. I hate that. Why can't what we like the best be the least expensive and realistic to buy. Grr.

I'm totally jealous that Erika got to hang out with you guys but glad you had fun! Just in case you weren't sure, the Ohio clan misses you, too. As usual, I love the pictures of the girls and am loving seeing so many pics of you lately, as well. You look awesome!
