I don't know how fall-y it is, but my favorite appetizer right now is like a pizza dip (I think I got it out of a pampered chef cook book) :)

Mix together 1 package of cream cheese with italian seasoning. Spread in the bottom of like a round flat bowl. Then spread pizza sauce. Top with mozerella cheese. Microwave it until the cheese is all melted. Serve with slized baguettes. Yummy.

I planned on making this at some point during the Fall season, and then never did. So I'm gonna make it during the Christmas season instead.

www.eighteen25.blogspot.com They have a fall label you can choose from the sidebar. Cute decorating ideas and it seems like there were some recipes, too.

Pumpkin bread, banana bread, hot cider, hot chocolate... those are my fall comfort/snack foods.

Your spinach/artichoke dip is to die for. Make some of that and put it in some kind of pumpkin or fall themed bowl. Pumpkin bread/muffins sounds good, too, along with some hot cider. Don't forget to email me some pictures of the jewelry.

Love,
Grandma Panter

I recently made the Pioneer Woman Pumpkin cheesecake...super yummy!!
My favorite thing to serve during the fall is Wassail:
2 liters cranberry juice
2 liters apple juice
2 cinnamon sticks
1 cup brown sugar
8 whole all spice
12 whole cloves
Simmer in a crockpot for 6 hours (I put the cloves and allspice in a little bundle of cheesecloth or a tea steeper (??) ). It makes your house smell so good and it tastes wonderful!
And this appetizer is TO DIE FOR!!
Pecan Cheese Spread
1 c shredded cheese
1 c chopped pecans
1/2 cup mayo
1/2 cup chopped green onion
1 (6-8oz) jar jalapeno jelly
Mix all ingredients in a small bowl except jalapeno jelly. Press with spoon into a shallow dish (pie pan). Top with entire jar of jelly. Chill. Serve with your favorite crackers.
Sounds a little weird but it is so good!!
Can you tell I love to plan a party?? :) Hope you have fun!!

I know this idea is used for a wedding. I think it would be a fun party idea too. It might be a little more involved. I <3 the jars!

My friend makes these great ham and cheese appetizers--I can see if she'll let me in on the secret and share it with you :)

I think savory for fall--meat and cheese and such :)
