do you see how there are a few empty stems on that little guy?
this tomato plant was started from seed in our living room in February.
FEB.RU.ARY.
I have been nursing this little guy for MONTHS.
and this past week, we saw RED!
but I have kids.
four of them.
they are cute.
yes.
and they can be good.
yes.
but today?
today, two of them were NOT GOOD.
I know, you can only see the evidence of one but trust me...somewhere out there in our 10,000 sq. ft. yard...there is another one.
she told me so.
she knows that when I threaten 'vanilla on the face', I mean it.
the dumbest part?
I actually started to cry....and then I remembered that Trader Joe's is 3 min's away and Giant is 1 min away.
still! FEB. RU. ARY!

Kinda reminiscent of your freaky garden here. Lettuce of Babble? Non ripening tomatoes? I don't know but, maybe gardening really isn't your thing girl. And that tomato don't even look all the way red...more of a "yellow wanna be red after a few more months" kinda look to it.
I'm just sayin'-cause I love you, and am concerned for your safety in digesting your freaky vegetables.
There is no shame in Trader Joe's produce. :~)
I can confess the same thing: crying over my naughty little children pulling my {precious} green babies right off the vine and smashing them to smithereens. {snif, snif} Still brings a tear to my eye.
