once more please...

ok.
let's try this again.

My blogger counter thingy says 181 people came to the blog on the day I posed this question:

"If you could talk to anyone who could help you get to your dream, who would it be?"

and 3 people actually answered it.
3.

3? really?

181 vs. 3

so.
we're gonna try this again people.

only this time, I'm doing a give-away.
because they are trendy and I want everyone to read this book anyway.

I'll send TWO copies of Renting Lacy by Linda Smith to two random commenters that answer the question.

If you commented on the first round you're already in.  Because you're already cool.

I did not say you needed to say what your dream was and you can just put the first name of your answer if you're too chicken not entirely comfortable.
I get that.
I'm too chicken about a lot of stuff.
Baby steps...together...first name first.
We'll work on the last name later.

ok...round two.
who is it!?

(don't have a name??? maybe come up with the TYPE of person you'd like to talk to.)

hahahaha i love you, holly!
when that last post came up in my reader I had to really think.
I mean, really think.
Its hard for me to choose one person. I sorta want a round table option. A lot-of-1-peoples-option.
but, to narrow it down....
Nicholas Kristof, or
Darlene Deibler Rose, or
Amy Carmichael.

For the record, I was still planning on commenting on the previous post, but I was still thinking about the person and the dream.... I would say either Beth Moore or Jody Gray (two separate dreams for me...sometimes many more depending on the day - but these two are more consistent).

Also for the record....I was planning on commenting on the previous post too! Bah ha! If I had to narrow it down to one right now I would say Susie Childers. Love her. You don't need to send me a book...I'll just borrow yours when I get there. :~)

I didn't comment because I wasn't completely sure who I would pick either. I think I am going to go with Reba McEntire, though. I always loved her and wanted to be a country singer but have realized I'm too thin-skinned for the business since I still get nervous singing in church even though I've done it every Sunday for the last 8 years. In reality, I should never be allowed to meet anyone famous, though because the few times I have, I have lost my mind and made a complete fool of myself...

I'm with some others on this. I don't think I can really define my dream. But I think it would be cool to meet Oprah and I'm sure she'd have connections enough to help me get something done ;-)

Besides God, I would like to meet conjoined twins- which is actually two people. Either Abby and Britney Hensel or Lori and Reba Scheppel.

Rocket said he would want to meet Troy Tulowitski.
Roxanne said she would like to meet someone in a big spongebob costume.

Just for the record I wasn't planning on answering the question because I don't like dreams. They hurt when they don't come true. Unless you're talking about a therapist and just the random dreams we have....then I would talk to my sister, Lisa, because we tell each other the weirdness of our lives and appreciate it. Then again I think I need to talk to a therapist about not liking dreams....maybe I have some deep seeded issues...or maybe they aren't that deep. I have been talking to God about my current pit that I am comfortable in...and there are some seedy issues down here...but nothing we can't get through together. So...God. And that's not a cheesy answer because look at my rambling...it's just where I am right now. Him and me...dukin' things out. Thank goodness he's winning. There...that's my entry.

Anyone? Hmm. I would say anyone with a lot of money and connections, just because I know what I want to do and how I want to do it, I'm just not sure in what ways I could be able to pursue it... or just my sister Rachel, she's really good at helping me to figure things out
