cleaning solution recipe, which brings me to my next obsession....
just felt like a day for making cleaning solution.
been making the recipe for a while.
can't remember who told me about it (Stacy, was this you?) but it's so simple I've ditched my old time favorite for this one.
1 c. distilled vinegar
1 c. rubbing alcohol
1 c. water
I add essential oils, but not all the time.
Today I did and it looked like this:
20 drops Grapefruit
20 drops Lemongrass
10 drops Tea tree/Melaleuca (um...how is it that I'm just now figuring out those are one in the same!?)
I put this in squirt bottles and in my Bona mop refill thingy.
Just love it.
Speaking of essential oils.
They are my new kick.
THEY ARE FLIPPIN' AMAZE SAUCE!
I joined Young Living to get the discount and info and wow.
Brought down Lydia's fever the other day with no meds - just Thieves oil, Peppermint oil, Lemon Oil and ImmuPower oil.
Am currently zapping a cold sore on Nora's mouth with Thieves.
Am also currently zapping some pain in Samantha's mouth (from orthodontic work) with a blend called PanAway.
Every single time we go out into a public place (uh hem...like church or other groups of kids) we put Thieves oil on the back of our necks and it acts like an air purifier for germs.
It. has. worked. so. amazing.
Lydia did get that fever, but we didn't have Thieves on the day she was probably exposed!
And those are just the TIP of the iceberg of how I've been using them lately.
Ya might be hearing more about them....
I put them in the deodorant, I'm making my own body oil/lotion, I've drank them and put them in the girls water, I've diffused and diffused and diffused them some more.
I'm obsessed too because I read the concept that God put so much of what we'd need medicinally into the plants and flowers and it's all there to help us....HE CREATED THIS STUFF.
And there are like NO side effects.
They are not the end. all. answer to everything.
But I am fascinated by what they ARE!!!
(fitting I'd start figuring all this out whiles I'm living in hippy country...when in Rome baby! When in Rome.)
