* FOUR new recipes on the Once a Month Yumminess blog.
I didn't post ONE in 2010 and now here I am Jan 2011 and already there are two cakes on the cake blog and four recipes on the cooking blog.....WATCH OUT!
*I cleaned off my desk today.
wow. my 'to do' pile is quite LARGE.
*THE books are done.
Phew. and boo...I hate it when good books like this end.
Dang it. They were just so darn good.
My only complaint is that the author seems to have given up towards the end of the book...She didn't really leave a lot hanging but there just wasn't enough detail for me. MORE JUICE PLEASE! Right!?
*reading another MUST READ that is Non-fiction, but written in fictitious tone.
very hard read....but a must.
You read about/hear about human trafficking in other countries but this one is about the issue right here in the USA.
*The three oldest ladies of our household had eye exams today.
Check. Check. Check.
YEA! None of us needs glasses, yet. (and this made Lydia and Samantha sad!?)
I still have a scar from a surgery to correct my lazy eye....I was FOUR! Why has no other doctor ever pointed it out?
(did you all know I had a lazy eye!? oh. yes. I. did. and thick bottle cap glasses too!)
Lydia and Samantha were so great! Articulate, brave, excited!
My girls are so often shy that when they aren't I want to scoop them up and eat them for dessert!!!
YUM!
*We have the funnest 'theatre' filled weekend ahead of us.
*Had a very deep conversation about who God/Jesus was and the journey to figure out what one believes with finality, with a neighbor friend of mine and it has made me feel so ALIVE all week.
I LOVE THAT STUFF!

*Nora and Sophie are SO Twiny lately.

this is a teeeeensy weeeeensy little taste of it:
*just pulled out a couple of chickens from the oven, need to go debone them, I have to be done here anyway because that laughing session you just hear 40 seconds of it still going, with no real end in sight.
*gosh I'm ready for the weekend!!!
