I thought everyone knew what they were, but after mentioning it to a few people yesterday, I guess they don't. SO SO SO fun!
Lydia and I punched out over 30 of them in just an hour.
Today we will 'use' them for key chains, jewelry, bookmarks, cards, etc...
(a quick description: You color on these special sheets of plastic paper, you cook the paper for about 3 min's, it's wiggles and curls and SHRINKS to the size of a bead/charm, then you use them like a bead or charm)
*Week 2 of my new Bible Study group and I LOVE IT!!!!!
*There's an ice storm going on here, not exactly conducive to running outside so I used some Hulu, Exercise TV videos this morning...they weren't bad! Cindy's abs hurt and Megan's Cardio Yoga was pretty good. (this afternoon it is in the 40's...ice storm gone!)
*Started this study in Joshua...Day ONE and I'm already convicted and blown away.
Not sure if that makes me excited for Day TWO or scared for Day TWO.
*School:
(why do I feel like some of my kids toys actually see me!?)
*I still haven't done ANY New Years resolutions or new goals or refreshing of goals, etc.....
And I actually like to do that junk.
*During Bible today we were talking about the Ark of the Covenant. I was explaining it to them as being a very big special box that the Israelites thought God was actually IN...
"but was He?", I asked.
"NO! That's silly mommy." they said.
"Yes, that is silly." I responded.
"MOMMY," said Samantha,
"It's like in Monsters Inc, when they thought the green monster was in the blue box but he wasn't, and they carried the box and they went here and there and this happened and that....." and she went on and on and on
(which just means the correlation got weaker and weaker but you could tell she was enjoying the sheer act of just talking and remembering and she knew I was putty in her hands)
blurry, but this was her face WHILE she was telling me...
she was not kidding.
What 'reading time' for Sophie (Left) and Nora (right) looks a little like:
what you can't 'see' are them asking 5 MILLION questions.
so cute.
*headed to the library later...
I'm addicted to listening to books on cd while I run.
A.dic.ted.
