Presidents Day at...

...Mount Vernon.
Along with 1/2 of the Eastern Hemisphere.

Note to self: No matter how much logic is involved or how harmless it may seem DO NOT LEAVE YOUR HOUSE ON A HOLIDAY in this city.  the. end.  No matter what.

we got some fun pictures but that's about it!
oh..and we can say, "We went to George Washington's house on his 279th birthday".
That's something!

according to the girls, the coolest part of the day?
this tree with these awesome seed pod/pine cone things.
yep.

can you see the crowd???

we will have a 'do over' of Mount Vernon soon.
it looks like it could be pretty great!

Did you even get to go in? I was really surprised by how small it was! The rooms were tiny and the colors were very unexpected.

It is a fun and cool place to go. Went with my aunt around my senior year. You have to go again when its not so crowded. ~Amanda King~
