Soccer

Lydia and Samantha are playing soccer.

I am coaching!!!!

It. is. a. blast.
One of my favorite things we've done.

Nora and Sophie will play in the fall but for now they hang out at a near by playground with some sweet ladies who volunteer to watch the littlest ones.

It's a homeschool co-op type of soccer and we Love love LOVE it.

and they do such a good job that ice cream is always in order!

They had their first game yesterday and Lydia's team (the one I coach) won 9-0.
Lydia was a lot more 'in' the game than I would have predicted, I was pretty proud of her for that.
She's a perfectionist and it's stops her from jumping in sometimes....but not this time!!!!

Samantha's team doesn't keep score but I did over hear her coach say that Samantha was one of the three most aggressive kids on the team.  That's funny if you know Samantha.
Shoot...not only would I not call her aggressive, I don't even know where she is half the time!
She does make me smile.
