much needed break.

Today was one of those days when I needed an unexpected break...not wanted but NEEDED and God provided one custom made for me.
A friend called an invited us over for dinner, between her and her three teenagers I got to just sit on her couch like a bump on a log and the girls had a blast looking at some other people's faces for a while. I think we were like 3 rats in too small of a cage all day. I attempted to go through their clothes and change out the sizes that were in their drawers. After a while we were all just clawing at each other! Projects like that are like an invitation to a bad day around here. We were cooped up in their room for too long. We redeemed ourselves tonight though. I went back to being a good mommy and they went back to being good little girls. All better! Thanks Carrie, Cassie, Caitlin and Craig! You were truly God-sent today.
