if you must know

Inquiring minds are wondering why I'm 'staying up until 3am'.
If you'll look back about 20 posts or so you'll see my list of ailments that accompany being pregnant with twins.
Insomnia, I believe, is on there and if it's not, well, consider it added.
I sleep until about 2:30a, get up and stay up for about an hour to two hours and then I'm back down....and that's a good night.
So, I'm not 'staying up', although I have enough to do that it would be nice to be able to stand a few nights like that!

Projects are ticking off around here in 'Superman' fashion. I've never been one for cutsie pet names between husband and wife but I think I have sincerely called Jake "superman" about a million times this week.

Here's what he's done this week:
bought me a van
built a massive shelf unit in the basement for my growing numbers of plastic tubs
redone a coffee table, end table, and bed (meaning sanding, priming, painting and reassembling)
set up a bed and bought a mattress for Lydia in Samantha's room (they are doing great together!)
Potty training Lydia (yes, my husband is potty training his little girl...it's so cute!)
Oh yeah, he did go back to work this past week
Stayed home with the girls this morning so I could fulfill a commitment at church
made dinner a few nights
made breakfast every morning
Laundry (not the folding or sorting but all the other stuff)

this list is making me tired and I know I'm forgetting a few things.
Like I said. Superman.

Hello Holly - I just wanted to leave you a word of Congratulations and encouragement - You ARE doubly blessed - though it really will not feel like it for quite some time -
my twin girls are staring their third birthday in the face and it seems like just yesterday I was placing them in their bassinette for the first time while "big" (24 month old) brother looked on. After many many nights --sleepless nights - feelings of incompetance - you name it - now I feel like the bassinettes are harldy dusty and they are headed for "pre-school" soon.

YOU CAN DO IT! - God does not give us more than we can handle - Just enough on our plates that we could not do it without HIS help!

Being a mom of twin girls also - I can safely tell you to hang in there - it is a BLAST ( minus the first few months!) Congratulations - and please please call me if you need to talk to someone who knows what you are going thru!

congrats again!
Barbara

So... I got an email saying babies are here! I am so stoked I could hop in the car and head to Nebraska... oh if I didn't have finals!

So since, they are here, bet you won't be on here anytime soon. But I wanted to say Congratulations Panters!! I can't wait to meet the newness in your family. Love ya, E

I think you are both truly amazing, but then I always have thought so. I'm hoping that we get to head out that way as soon as we can get things scheduled to escape our busy lives here in Georgia. Not to mention escaping the grasp of our three little "precious tresures". I learned from having you around how much I would love being a grandmother. Give my love to Jake and all the babes!
