I have been back to my exercises routine now for about two weeks. I have, not once, been able to get 1 hr. straight of silence from children for that entire two weeks...until today!
I was so excited I had to come down here, all sweaty, and record it.
I left the babies with a new 'helper' (I LOVE HER!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Kate.)
and then took the big girls to the mall play ground to hang out with some MOPS buddies this morning, Kate and I must have worn everyone out. I think I could handle this every day (except I would really start to miss my little girls by about day....two)
Our Valentines 'dinner' was a far cry from my 1 hour this afternoon.
Jake was holding a screaming Nora
I was holding a screaming Sophie
Lydia and Samantha were just very happy to be alive and were showing it with their all the sudden loud voices.
So, our conversation was one for the record book, talking as loud as we could without actually 'yelling' and broken into small pieces because we had to stop and referee something or someone every couple of minutes.
We had steak on our plates but eating it was another story. It takes two hands to cut steak, something I was never very aware of until now.
The sparkling cider was yummy and could be consumed one handed, however.
I'm thinking that next years Valentine dinner will be quite a bit smoother.
I'll let you know.
