Cake #1 was for a baby shower and it had strawberry buttercream icing over a chocolate cake with strawberry filling. Yes, I know, sinful. (it even colors well if you need to make a 'boy' cake!)
Cake #2 is just because I am an overachiever and went psychotic this week. You should try it sometime, it's really neat (the going psychotic part and the marshmallow fondant that I made to get this to look like a pumpkin!)

The Pumkin ROCKS! I have heard the fondant is difficult to say the least to work with. Pat yourself on the back. You will have to let me know how if it tasted good. It is beautiful but I have heard it doesn't have much flavor.
I keep wondering what I would do with my time if it were my time. I am glad to see you have found something.

Both cakes are beautiful! But I must say, I love the pumpkin...I must try it!!!! I know it won't come out this pretty, but I'll have to try it anyway and if it comes out nicely, I'll do it for Thanksgiving. Thanks for the idea!! But wait a minute....how did you do the stem?
