all mixed up.

Sundays with a deployed husband are just wierd.

Everyone, naturally, wants to know how we are doing and how Jake is doing.

I, naturally, just say great, fine, good (because really, what else am I going to say while I am trying to get four kids in or out of the nursery?).

Not that I have anything negative to say but I would love the time and words to brag on all the help I've had and the awesome people around me that God has so strategically placed.

Still, it 'brings it up' and it's awkward. It's awkward when I'm not asked, it's awkward when I'm asked and its awkward to answer.

it's just weird.
I miss my husband, that's all.

You guys are so cute. I feel like I'm eavesdropping on a private conversation when Jake posts on your blog!! :-)

Oh, girl, fresh off a deployment ourselves, I can SO relate. I was so sleep deprived this last time that it was all I could do not to burst into tears and make a complete fool of myself. To tell you the truth, I always hated Saturdays... Wow that was encouraging, oops. You are doing great, keep it up!

Yes Amanda, Saturdays are THE worst. On so many levels!
