a poem for Sophie

There was a little girl, she had a little curl
Right in the middle of her forehead;
And when she was good, she was very, very good,
And when she was bad, she was horrid.

Im laughing so hard!
My dad used to say this poem to my Avery. It was very true for her as well!
Thanks for the memory.

Love it...you are so talented; you just don't know it. =)

Why not tell your friends the first little girl that poem applied? Could it be the "biting champion of 1979"? But I remember your hair being more blonde.

I love you princess!

You could put a picture of our curly headed Sophie next to your curly headed Sophie. They would make a "horrid" team. We've sung that to our little curly headed monster too. Very funny.

yes Mamaw, she is MY child FOR SURE! and I think the only reason my hair was lighter was because I lived on the BEACH in Hawaii -
Sophie's hair gets lighter every day we're outside - which has been a lot this week!

I had the Little Golden Book of this poem stretched into an entire story. I actually loved having it read to me--must have been on my 'good' days. LOL!
