I take it back.
I forgot that when Jake is gone, weird things happen.
Like: my four year old who has maybe wet her bed 3 times in her life...wets her bed at midnight and one of my little girls poops at 4 am - because she just feels like it I guess????
What was that!?

The same reason my 3 yr old sleepwalks when my husband is gone and the almost 2 yr old has what can only be described as night terrors (except that it happens several times a night instead of the typical once). Children KNOW when things are amiss in their lives. And think about how time moves for a child too - they have no concept really of minute to minute (remember when we were kids and summer seemed like forever and now it just zips by?). They cope the best they can...just like we do. Thank God children are resilient. Wish I was more!
