just hit me.

it's what friends are for.
well, my friends anyway.

December, in my mind, isn't here yet so it's a long long way away right?

WRONG.

and leave it to my friends to 'gently remind' me of that this evening ;-)
(they don't all work under pressure like I do - go figure!?)

Thursday is Walk Through Bethlehem (a 'real' town you can walk through at our church - careful, the camel spits)
Friday is Jake's Christmas party - holiday casual (huh?)
Saturday is small group, here
Sunday's are just insane. period.

Tuesday I'm speaking 2 hrs away at a church in Grand Island for their women's Christmas event.

(the word: speaking is highlighted because that equals hours of prep time!!!!! I have started and am in the 'wrapping it up' stages but am still feeling the overwhelmingness of the responsibility - that 'ol Bible has a lot to say about people who speak to crowds ya know!!!???)

...and I thought all of that was much further away and much more spread out!!!???

thanks friends.
hit me any time!

in the mean time my reaction to finding out this was not so far away and not so spread out went something like this:

AAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So glad I could share my "AAAAAHHHHHHH" with someone! If it makes you feel better, all of that was my reaction when I woke up this morning and realized all of those things.

he he he. I kind of saw your eyebrows crumple together as we started talking about this, and then I saw the lightbulb...if you need a 'helper' with your outfits for this week just holler!

Hey Holly- I am totally with you, Dec. is such a crazy month. Oh ya, Holiday casual what is that anyways- they said that last year too. My responce has always been "a Christmas sweater?" Last year I wore black pants and all the girls were in little coctail dresses (I was very pregnant so I didn't feel too out of place and definantly not in the mood for a little dress). Kyle asked the girls in the office this year and they said they were wearing dresses, so I guess that's what I am doing (I don't have any nice pants that fit right now, so I am fine with a dress- just hate the heals). Oh well, it should be fun. I look forward to seeing you and not having babies wrapped around us. Have a wonderful Dec. and I will be praying for your speaking thing- I am sure you will do wonderfully and God will be speaking through you.
