what's in a name anyway?
In crowds when I need everyone to come or 'do' I call the girls: Panter Girls
When I just need Lydia and Samantha I say: the Big Girls
When I just need Nora and Sophie I say: the Babies
I am transitioning and don't say Big Girls/Babies as often but I have said it enough in the past that it is now what Nora and Sophie call each other.
They say things like:
Look Babies
Come on Babies
No Babies
BABIES!!!!
(not 'baby', 'babies'!)
it makes me giggle every time.

So funny! Early on someone mentioned to me that I'd get into the rut of always referring to the girls as "the twins" or something "titlish". I've always tried to be careful of labeling them that. In fact - I'm not sure they really understand what being a "twin" is! I've never made a big deal out of it...they know it's special...but it's not who they are. right? Funny how we do that so naturally!
