who ever heard of a car having TWO fuel tanks?
that means that you have two fuel pumps.
say what?
I'm not driving an airplane but it sure sounded that way when the mechanic was explaining to me that the fuel tanks balance eachother.
so, the $1000 fuel pump we just put in isn't enough....now it needs ANOTHER $1200 fuel tank.
uh huh.
that's
$2200.

what?! Oh that sucks. Our first van had 2 tanks and it took awhile before my mom figured out that she needed to use one tank before the other because if she didn't, then the wrong one would overflow and we'd be spilling gas as we were driving down the highway.pooey on your car!
