(this was THE prettiest 20 yards in all of Nebraska and it was almost too pretty with all these little girls on it ;-)
the thing I'll never want to forget about this little hike of ours is that Lydia announced to everyone, at 30 second intervals, that she was "THE Leader" and we all just needed to follow her. It wasn't bossy or rude, just matter of fact and maternal. So first born, so sweet, so Lydia.

aren't you all supposed to be on the road by now? great pictures...even though none of the girls were looking, I guess it helps that ALL of them have super duper hair!!!
