Friday afternoon, after we'd thawed out, I decided that having a 'free' Saturday night a few weeks before we leave town would just not do.
So I got to work callin' all our peeps and planning a 'chili cook-off', only, it was really just 'bring some chili and goof-off'.

dinner with other friends that have 'been with' us since the beginning of our Omaha story - ya know, like back when I wasn't exactly 'myself' and struggling with postpartum and mean and just hard to be around and....you get it! They stuck by us somehow and now we're buds - amazing, real and honorable people - we love the LUNDBERGS!!!
Monday morning Jake had to work, so I worked on moving details and Monday afternoon I escaped for a day of antique shopping with some friends....
again, just packin' every second we can 'in' with all these amazing people we will be leaving behind soon.
Monday night Jake and I snuggled up on the couch, each with our own book (Me: Forgotten God by Francis Chan!!!! very good!!! finished Crazy Love and had this one on hand so I dove in!!! Jake: Pride and Prejudice - and he's going to kill me for putting that out there ;-) uh hum...he loves it!) all while watching the Olympics!!!!!
and now it's Tuesday/Monday....and we all know how those go around here ;-}
why do weekends have to end!!!??
