an 11 year anniversary + 3/4 a tank of gas + a 3 hour drive + sand + some ocean + a hotel room equal?

=Ocean City, MD!

=5 1/2 hours straight playing in the water and in the sand!

=happy, perfect, great!

=some sand in your bathing suit:

=some buried twins:

=some extremely excited little girls!

=undivided attention from mom and dad:

aahhh....

THAT was perfect!

some notes:

June 4th weekend = a airshow in Ocean City

which means we got to see the Thunderbirds, f-18's, T-36's!!!, and trick planes while we were just enjoying ourselves in the water!

it also explains why there were NO hotel rooms in the Ocean City area for Friday night.

we left on Thursday afternoon, spent the night at Castle in the Sand Hotel

(LOVED this place! cheap, clean, on the beach, rooms were super quiet, has a lot of stuff/activities, everything was just right! Not luxurious, but just right)

spent all day Friday playing on the beach, ate dinner and then drove home.

and now, some homeopathic ways to sooth a sunburn:

2 cups Apple Cider Vinegar in a lukewarm bath - soak yer self.

Rub Coconut Oil all over ya like lotion...it will soak into your skin quick.

yea....the weekend was perfect but 5 1/2 hours on the beach will do anyone in -

and we are ALL 'done in'.
