I went to go buy them balloons...one for each year since they'd been born, per kid.
I was standing IN LINE with six balloons, the cashier had rung up 1/2 my stuff and it hit me!
THEY ARE NOT THREE!!!!!!!!!!!
oh my....
more on them later, here's what their special day looked like:
November 13, 2010
I let them dictate exactly what they wanted their cakes to look like.
They were long, painful, conversations but hearing Sophie exclaim "IT'S PERFECT" when she saw it and having Nora stick her fingers in her three different times that day because she just couldn't help it, complete made up for the silliness of the prep.
may we introduce our two newest family members: Marie and....Marie
(Bambi's girly friend is Marie according to Nora...is that true in the movie? I have no clue.)
we're FOUR~
you can't really see it here, but all I could find in my stash were pirate candles ;-)
it really upset them, can you tell ;-)?
Out to dinner and a show....
we made it through the first 1/2 of Little Women, which just happen to be playing at our local high school ON their birthday
thank.you.very.much.!
(we opted to leave at intermission, before any meltdowns even had a chance to come to fruition -
been there. done that. don't wanna go back.)
Nora + Daddy = Nora Heaven
they had a good time....don't let Sophie's face fool you, she has that effect on people, trust me.
such a fun day.
such a sad day for me, but fun.
four....
my little babies are four....
