these are the 'in the middle pictures'.
it was just a bed in a room before...not very exciting.
we are SO not done but it is looking great, that is for sure!
and, even though we're not done, we are using it, 'cause we LOVE it.

well.
we had school stuff in every nook and cranny of this house.
it was well hidden and well organized but it was spread out all over the place.
in baskets under end tables, baskets by the kitchen table, book shelves down stairs, cabinets upstairs, more baskets under there, other baskets over there....etc...
as a matter of fact, it was so well hidden I didn't even realize how much stuff we had and how much stuff we WEREN'T using because it was so well organized and so well hidden.
good to know that that is some weird skill I possess...to have massive amounts of things but have it look like I don't.
so, NO MORE!
it's all out.
it's still organized but now it will all stare us in the face every day until we use it or decided we don't want to use it and get rid of it.
