we drove 2.5 hours on Thursday night and about 7 hours on Friday.
We settled in, took showers and headed to the rehearsal dinner....
and we pretty much laughed our way through the rest of the weekend.
the 'Amy' face ;-)
next day/wedding day/Saturday:
these two never left his presences....they are smitten. 'they' meaning all three of them.
when you're a mommy of four girls and are standing in the bride room you WILL get snatched to do a little girls hair!
SO pretty!!!!
Sophie was helping...
but we had to ask this crew to leave because they were having TOO MUCH fun ;-)
Nate....that's just weird. jeez.
it was a precious precious ceremony...so pretty, so thought through, so Amy!
the twins had every boy hooked...
we all headed back to hang out for the rest of the evening after the wedding and wedding clean up:
Samantha...you are too adorable for words little girl.
PICTIONARY!!!!!!
Mafia...YouTubes....laughing...talking...coffee...pizza....inside jokes flying...
gosh...I love these kids:
(my card said: Hippopotamus.
Thank you Amber...Celeste?...I can't remember...but I knew one of you'd pull through for me and you did!)
see that guy in the back ground?
yeah...I had him in my Freshman Sunday school class....9 years ago....
you know what's the coolest part?
These kids (they will ALWAYS be kids to me...I don't care how pregnant, married or old they are)
They still love Jesus.
Like, really really love Jesus.
Life has been hard to a few of them - Satan is in full attack on some - a couple are distracted but their love of Jesus is still contagious.
that is refreshing in a way that I can't describe.
we drove 9 hours home on Sunday.
Jake and I were both in horrible moods....two nights up past 2am in the morning will do that to us ;-).
but we both feel so refreshed and energized deep inside.
We love you Fighters....

wow. what a great, DEEP weekend!
I guessed hippopotamus but don't give me too much credit - my first guess was pig tree! I LOVED seeing you all. I wish it could happen more often because it's always such a wonderfully sweet time. Oh how I miss those FIGHT days. I can't believe you all have been gone for 7 years. Where is time going!?
I loved it. Every part of it. The laughter, the hugging, the games, and the loving on those kids we see so much of you and Jake and Jesus in. Miss you much.
Your hippopotamus looks like a Christmas tree!?
Looks like a fun time! Glad you got to go!
