too many candles.

Lydia is 7.

She is beautiful.

Absolutely positively beautiful.

Her soul, her eyes, her mind, her spirit.

She turned 7 on Monday but we kinda ignored it...well, everyone but her....because Grandma and Grandpa arrived on Tuesday morning and we wanted to celebrate with them here!

So..we did.

Lydia is a die-hard cheesecake fan so there was no cake by mama this year.

So funny...that girl.

Her mommy makes ridiculous cakes but she wants cheesecake (really, she's just like me in that way!).

Done.

Cheesecake it was.  And pillow pets, and Minnie Mouse, crafty stuff and clothes and all things girly....

(Nana....your present was a HUGE hit...these two sat there for a couple of hours making key chains and bracelets. Grandma remembered a few of her old macrame tricks and Lydia ate them up!)

Celebrating Lydia is just about one of the easiest things there is to do.
