mama was getting a little glassy eyed.
we hit the National Mall today for a little fresh air, culture, friends and yum food:
first stop:
African Art Museum for a little drums presentation with Kofe from Ghana talking about Nigeria ;-)
he was amazing and we later found out that he lives across the street from us!
we took a walk through the museum afterwards...not gonna lie, it was creepy.
old African art is kinda dark and scary.
or was that just the lighting?
who knows...

next stop was Cava Mezze.
second time there.
I'm still in love with Greek food. The end.
Now that I'm typing this out I'm thinking we should have hit up Little Ethiopia...oh well...next time, because there will be a next time!
