Noraism.

today we had soccer.
it was our first game day.
Nora got in the car very excited to share that:

"MOMMY! Today in soccer we played a game where the blue team had to get it into one goal and we (the red team) had to get it into the other goal and we were all trying to do it at the same time! It was so fun!"

to which I replied,

"Yes Nora, that's what soccer is."  (I was tired, it was all I could come up with)

to which she replied with a very confused and excited, "Really!?"

I may have missed the whole, "hey girls, before we start soccer, let me tell you what it is" speech.
instead I just kinda threw them out there.....might not want to make a habit of that in life.
just thinkin' out loud here.
