it's killing me..

while the girls are at a camp this week I am working on a photo project for our long staircase wall.

that means that I am going through old pictures.

and it's killing me!!!

I feel like I need to carry this picture around to help people understand just how close in age the girls are.
In this picture:
Lydia is 2 yrs and 3 months old,
Samantha is 1 yr and 2 months old,
Nora and Sophie are 10 days old.
shudder....it's ok, I am.

this next one brought me to laughing tears.
Samantha's face!!!!!
The way she is pushing a twin's head back, probably trying to do something I asked her to do (based on the look on her face).  Lydia...just Lydia.
oh my...I'm still laughing!!!!

more laughter...I don't know...I just don't know!!!!?

this makes me laugh now, I have no idea if it did then, but it does now!
(making me shudder all over again - they were SO MUCH WORK! duh.)

SO much going on here!!!!
bottoms, dancing, lips, bellies...just sooo much!
again, I'm dying!

oh gosh, and then there is this picture!

I am on a mission to narrow thousands of pictures down to eighteen.
ugh.

good news is I keep coming across these kinds of pictures that are literally keeping me in stitches as I go through them.

I have one rule:
The picture must stir emotion.

If it's a good picture, fine.
But it doesn't make the cut unless it stirs me somehow...

and yet, I still have hundreds to pare down!!

oh.
and this makes me want babies again.
NOT new babies.
MY babies.
again.

I can't believe I just thought/typed that!!!

LOVE the pictures. I think the fact that you stopped to take a picture of the mountain of cheerios means you must have found at least a smidge of humor in it at the time. Can't wait to see pictures of your project - I need some inspiration.

Love the tooshies in the swimming pool! Geesh... A LOT of memories in that house! I can't get over how consistently the same Lydia looks throughout the years in all her pictures. So sweet!
