I got the idea HERE
and because I want to be like Tisha, 'cause she's so dang cool, we executed her idea (or her stolen idea anyway) in our room like this:

those little white shelves running along the wall are actually gutters!!!
(or junk holders, or trash bins, or tricket baskets...whatever.)
Jake had them pre-cut to the length we wanted at the store, bought the brackets and end caps and it took him all of about 10 min's per shelf to install.
He did this little project for us a while ago.
I have been waiting until the girls room looks all magazine pretty and like it should in my mind.
That wasn't happenin'...k?
I am not 'that' blogger.
That's just all there is too it.
I take 'that' bloggers ideas and make them real for us.
Cute gutter shelves filled with trash/trinkets/treasures and all.
(it's what we intended them for in the first place!)
thanks Tisha!

Those are super cute and sound super easy to do! I may need to add them to our big boys room too!
If you were 'that blogger' I wouldn't love you nearly as much. :) Love this idea. May have to steal it! :)
Finally! I've been waiting to see these! Jake did awesome, they fit perfectly, just deep enough to hold the right amount of stuff, and I may need to beg Isaak to do this for us! :~)
They look awesome! Full of little girlie things. :)
Your girls' room is so pretty. I have always LOVED your decorating taste!
